Entertainment destinations at The Dubai Mall have been temporarily closed, it was announced on Sunday. The move was in response to a mandate from the UAE Department of Economic Development, @TheDubaiMall tweeted.

@TheDubaiMall tweet read: “Nothing is more important to us than the well-being of our guests & staff. For that reason & following a mandate from the UAE Dept. of Economic Development, entertainment destinations within @TheDubaiMall, @DubaiOpera, Springs Souk & @DubaiMarinaMall will be closed till Mar 31st.”
